Francisca Álvarez Sánchez (Chile, 1986) Visual artist, illustrator, teacher. She has participated in residencies in Oaxaca, Mexico, Chiloé, Santiago and Valparaíso and in individual and collective exhibitions in both countries. She has worked on artistic-pedagogical projects, theater design, stop motion animation, editorial illustration, and murals. She currently works as an independent artist and illustrator on various projects, conducts illustration and painting workshops, and is a university professor. She is the creator of Una rama azul where she creates living objects in painted wood. She actively participates in fairs and events related to graphics and culture.
