Qanbar Balali Dehkordi, born in 1960, is one of the leading calligraphy artists and professors of Chahar Mahal and Bakhtbari province. He started calligraphy in 1977 with Professor Nasraleh Moin at Isfahan Fine Arts Academy. He completed the Khosh course in 1977 and the Ally course in 1980 and Nastaliq Jali from 1994 with Professor Ali Shirazi. In 1995, he received the Momtaz course, in 2012, the super-Momtaz course, and in 2014, he was awarded a master's degree.
