Abdolhamid Ghadirian was born in 1960/1339 in Tehran. He completed his studies in painting and got his master's degree at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Tehran. During the years of his studies in artistic activity, he received a first-class art certificate - equivalent to a PhD - in the field of costume design from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. Ghadirian started his professional activities in the field of painting in 1981 and cinema in 1986. So far, he has designed costumes for dozens of movies and TV series; The costume design of the "Holy Maryam" series is one of the works of Ghadirian, who received a crystal statue and a plaque of appreciation from the Fajr International Festival. Other achievements of Ghadirian in the cultural and artistic field of the country are Artistic management of the construction of the Museum of Tehranology and the closing of the 20th Fajr International Film Festival, executive director of the opening of the first Women's Olympics, writing books and publishing articles, holding individual and group exhibitions inside and outside the country,etc. The book From Earth to the Heavens - Illustration by caricature technique is written by Abdolhamid Ghadirian.
