Seyed Mohsen Nouri Najafi was born in 1957 in Tehran. He holds first-class caricature art certificates (equivalent to a PhD) and third-degree paintings - equivalent to a bachelor's degree - from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. During his years of artistic activity, he has created numerous works in the fields of design, caricature, screenwriting, animation directing and 35 years of cooperation with the country's widely circulated newspapers. He has been very active in judging international festivals, as well as holding domestic and foreign individual and group exhibitions in Iran, Mexico, Canada, France, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, Romania, Germany, etc. Seyed Mohsen Nouri Najafi has won dozens of awards and commendations from international festivals by participating in national and international art competitions, including winning first prize at the Grand Prix from South Korea (1996) and a special award and medal at the Yomiuri Shimbun Festival in Japan ( 1993).
