Yemisi Wilson is a stonemason and sculptor who trained as a painter in Florence at the Accademia di Belli Arti, 1994-2000. She has worked as a sculptor in stone in Pietrasanta from 1999 to 2011, where she was a resident artist at Studio Sem. In 2012 she returned to Stockholm and now works from her studio in Vinterviken, often going on work trips to Italy, Spain, India and Älvdalen where she works in marble, alabaster, granite and porphyry.
