Seyed Morteza Hosseini Pourshandiz was born in 1958 in Mashhad. He is a high school diploma graduate. He has a third degree certificate in art, equivalent to a bachelor's degree in miniature from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. Hosseini Pourshandiz has been a member of the festival jury, holding individual exhibitions and participating in group exhibitions in his artistic record since 1982. He has also participated in art competitions and has received numerous awards and commendation plaques, including the commendation plaque of the second and third biennial of miniature.
