He was born in 1960 in Tehran. He completed his bachelor's degree in graphic arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Tehran, and then began teaching at the art faculties of Shahed, Tehran, Al-Zahra and Soura universities. Over the years, Aghagholizadeh has participated in dozens of domestic and foreign solo and group exhibitions, including in Russia, Syria, Pakistan and Bangladesh, and has won numerous awards and commendations by participating in various art festivals and competitions; Including the special prize of the world exhibition "Peace Guarantees Social Progress" in Russia. He has always been an active participant in festivals and art events as a judge and executive secretary, among which we can mention the graphic secretary of the 4th Fajr International Festival and the judge of the International Poster Festival "A world free of violence". Collaboration with domestic and foreign visual publications regarding the publication of Aghagholizadeh's articles and works is another part of his activities in the field of culture and art.
