Irien Trendafilov was born in Bulgaria in 1955. His first caricature was published in 1968 in the newspaper "Otechestvenik voice". Almost his works have been published in all Bulgarian newspapers and Russian magazines. In 1988, he became a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists in the cartoon department. From 2002 to 2005, he had a column in Trud newspaper.
