Last time I was doing an exhibition in Kolkata, it was the happiest moment for me. I always capture photos of rural people, and they often ask why I do this. I tell them it's my hobby and I love the village because I was born there. My roots are in the village, and even though I now live in the city for my job, my heart belongs to the rural areas. I get a lot of inspiration from village people because they have simple lives without many demands and never complain about anything. When I had the exhibition, I brought some of them to the gallery to open it. They were surprised and felt so happy. This is what I wanted, and it made me feel really good about myself.
