Painter Zoey Frank was born in Boulder, Colorado in 1987. Frank's interest in art was developed during her Waldorf school education, and she decided to pursue art as a career after studying Renaissance art at age 13. She trained at Gage Academy of Art in Seattle for four years under Juliette Aristides, and later earned an MFA in painting from Laguna College of Art and Design. Frank's work has been featured in many galleries and museums, including Sugarlift, and her piece Seated was auctioned at Thomaston Place Auction Galleries in 2022. She has also received numerous awards and honors, including the Artist's Magazine All Media Competition Grand Prize, the Hudson River Fellowship, and three Elizabeth Greenshields grants.
