Ali Vazirian was born in 1960 in Tehran. He has a bachelor's degree in painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Tehran and holds a first-class certificate in painting - equivalent to a PhD - from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance. Participation in domestic and foreign exhibitions; Teaching in the art faculties of the University of Tehran, Al-Zahra and Shahed; Artistic director of magazines, festivals and visual exhibitions; Publication of the first specialized publication in the field of visual arts in Iran entitled "Contemporary Art"; Director and Editor of Visual Arts Book; The establishment of the first annual international exhibition of poster typography in the world - Asma Al-Hassani - and the publication of five volumes of books independent of his collection of works in the field of graphics and especially poster design are part of Ali Vazirian's artistic career. In recent years, he has seriously added filmmaking to his artistic activities and so far, in addition to appearing as an international judge, he has also won prestigious international awards; Including the Special Jury Prize of the Houston American Film Festival, the Special Global Zoom Award of the Seattle Film Festival, the Silver Elephant Award, the receipt of two golden butterflies from the Children and Adolescent Film Festival, and so on. Vazirian was one of the selected international designers of "AGI" in Melbourne in 2010 and the only Iranian speaker invited to the twentieth anniversary of this global art event by the International Design Foundation in Australia.
