He achieves this, with a mix of colored pencils, acrylic paint, and inks. As I said above, the anatomical features that take centre stage in most of these illustrations, are the hands and the feet. Most of the body emanating/projecting from them, fades away as an feature the artist is not really interested in or, a way of focusing our view on the aspects KIM wants us to pay attention to.Hands, one of the most articulated parts of our body, used by many as an extension of language. Then you have the feet mostly covered and hardly ever noticed when they are there. KIM does a fantastic job at showing them in different poses and lighting.
