Mostafa Goodarzi was born in 1960/ 1339 in Boroujerd. He holds a bachelor's degree in Visual Arts from the University of Tehran, a master's degree and a PhD in Visual Arts from the University of Rennes, and a PhD in Art History from the Sorbonne in France. Goodarzi has always had an active presence in various scientific-artistic and cultural positions of the country; Including: Dean of the Faculty of Visual Arts; Director of the Center for Visual Arts; Member of several specialized committees and artistic councils; Scientific-artistic consultant of Tehran Museum of Contemporary Arts; Member of various postgraduate and educational councils of art groups; Designer and consultant for several national and international exhibitions and television programs; Member of the Policy Council, the Selection and Refereeing Board of various artistic competitions and events; Designer, consultant and artistic director of several specialized conferences and national and international exhibitions of visual arts, etc. Goodarzi's other activities include: writing and translating several volumes of books, publishing dozens of articles in domestic and foreign art publications, being a supervisor and consultant for dozens of dissertations, organizing solo exhibitions and participating in domestic and foreign group exhibitions, participating in national and international art competitions and winning Numerous titles, awards and plaques, including a diploma of honor from the Moscow International Graphic Exhibition. The book "A few words about contemporary Iranian painting" is Mostafa Goodarzi's authorship.
