In the city of Rome; In the capital of Italy, there is a square called Ferdowsi Square, where a statue of this Iranian epic poet has been installed. Many years ago in the Italian capital, this square was named after Hakim Abolghasem Ferdowsi. This square is located in one of the green areas of Rome, which is both a promenade for the residents of this city and a place for foreign tourists.
In this square, like Ferdowsi Square in Iran, a statue of Abolghasem Ferdowsi has been installed, which is more than 50 years old. This statue, which is 185 cm high and made of white marble, is the work of "Master Abolhassan Sedighi" who was taken to Rome on May 20, 1958 and was installed during a ceremony in one of the squares of Rome.
